1. The Honda and Acura J2534 Control Module Update software has been replaced with J2534 Rewrite, which is included with the i-HDS suite. To add, delete or replace keys, refer to Keys and Codes in ServiceExpress.
2. Honda HDS software. Can you just use an OBD2 to USB cable or do you have to buy the damn device that requires an ac adapter, cat5 to obd2, usb to parallel deal? For basic obdii diagnosis, it’s ok to get a cheap xhorse mvci cable; this cable also works with Techstream for Toyota, Lexus & Scion and with VIDA 2014D for Volvo.
