LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port driver Motorola phones usually terminate data port on standard mini-USB connector, others, like Samsung and Sony Ericsson, use proprietary cable. Lge Usb Driver
So I've picked up a couple G3s in the last couple days.
Lge Mobile Usb Serial Port Windows 7
The first is a D855 which came with Kit Kat and I had no problem rooting it, installing TWRP and getting Lineage Oreo with a lite GApps package up and running. It's sweet. Unfortunately I'm in the US and want LTE so I also picked up a D850.
The D850 is on Marshmallow so I'm trying to restore it to Kit Kat. I've got the drivers and flash tool installed and have downloaded the TOT and DLL for the flash. Unfortunately when opening the flash tool I get a 'Milky Way Connection Failed' error and am unable to install Kit Kat. The phone is fine. I can remove the battery and it boots back to Marshmallow but I can't seem to figure out what the Milky Way error is about. I've already changed the port to 41 but I'm not sure if it's because the driver recognizes as 'LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port' as opposed to 'LGE Mobile USB Serial Port' as described in the guide I'm following (http://www.androidrootz.com/2014/07/how-to-unroot-lg-g3-all-variants.html).
Considering the phone acts fine I'm pretty sure it has something to due with setting on my computer. Has anyone experienced this before? Any thoughts how to fix it?
